If school is closed due to weather in the AM the Fitness Center will be closed in the AM, if the parking lots are clear for the afternoon the fitness center will be open.
If school is closed on Friday and the parking lot is clear on Sat. AM we will make every attempt to be open.

PICKLEBALL FREE CLINIC (for adults)
What is pickleball? Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badmiton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball and wood or composite paddles.
When: Saturday, December 4, 2010 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Where: Constantine Middle School Gym
Who: Anyone who is new to the game of pickleball. If you like your first experience, the Constantine Comm. Fitness Center will be hosting pickleball every Tuesday from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm from December 7 to January 11 for a drop in fee of $2 per session. (6 Weeks)
What do I bring? Bring your pickleball paddle if you own one, otherwise, we will be providing middle school equipment for your first experience. Pickleball is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 CCFC will host CONSTANTINE HEALTH & FITNESS FAIR - mini classes, fitness, beauty, health and more, details to follow. If you would like to help or be a part of this day please contact the fitness center during business hours.
A 6 week Yoga class will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 14th, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Cost - $30 for members if paid in full or $7 per session - $42 for non-members if paid in full or $9 per session Make checks payable to CCFC.
The instructor has asked that you come early to your first session as there will be some paperwork to fill out and to dress appropriately for yoga and bring your own props for yoga if you have any. This class will be geared to your ability.
The next 6 week class will PILATES it will begin on Oct. 26th and go for 6 weeks, 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. details will follow.
Both events will be held at Constantine Middle School - 260 W. 6th Street
On Friday, January 26th Riverside Elementary School PTO will be holding a “Theme” Basket Auction in the cafeteria. Baskets will be available to view 5-6 pm in the cafeteria with the live auction 6-7:30 pm. All proceeds will go toward new playground equipment at Riverside School. *cash, check, credit cards will be accepted*
At 7:30 pm the CPS Staff will take on the area Police in a basketball game. There will be a bake sale, concessions and more. The proceeds of this event will go to MI-COPS. To learn more about this please go to the CCFC January 2010 News Letter, and watch for the flyer that will pe posted soon.
